Male pedestrian (50s) dies after being struck by lorry in Dublin city centre

The pedestrian, a man in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to this collision to come forward.
The road is currently closed, and traffic diversions are in place as Garda Forensic Collision Investigators conduct a technical examination of the scene.
Gardaí have requested anyone with mobile phone footage or dash-cam recordings from the area at the time to share this footage with the investigating Gardaí.
