The project emphasizes a courtyard design that reflects traditional sheepfold architecture, providing both shelter from strong winds and an extended living space connecting interior and exterior.
By utilizing stones dug from the site for construction, the design not only enhances the building's mineral character but also integrates it closely with the natural landscape.
The courtyard's role is pivotal, not only for aesthetic coherence but also for the pragmatic purpose of extending living spaces outdoors while mitigating harsh wind conditions.
Each of the project’s volumes are intentionally kept simple and rectangular, promoting a direct connection to the courtyard and maximizing the relationship with the surrounding landscape.
