House in Serra do Louro / Cimbre
Briefly

Positioned at the highest point of Serra do Louro, the house integrates reused stones from a previously existing ruin, blending architecture with the rural landscape.
The design emphasizes solar orientation, predominantly opening the house to the south, while large glazed openings invite natural light and maintain privacy from the street.
Inside, the contrast of warm birch wood ceilings and robust exposed concrete walls creates a coherent architectural style, enhancing the home's tectonic character.
The spatial arrangement with a central social area allows for both family gatherings and privacy, as it separates the master bedroom from the two additional bedrooms.
