When the Gowanus rezoning was being developed, working groups met with city officials to discuss their primary concerns and priorities... themes emerged: public open spaces, local businesses, and local arts.
As I see the developments go up around me, I'm concerned about what investment is going to go into the community, and I'm worried that Gowanus will lose its unique character.
