General Motors has successfully installed its 2,000th public EV charging stall in Murrieta, California, achieving a significant milestone in its EV charging network expansion.
Dennis Kish, president of EVgo, emphasized the positive impact of the partnership with GM in expanding public charging access across over 30 states in the U.S.
GM stated that the newly installed station features five 350kW fast chargers, enabling charging for as many as 10 electric vehicles simultaneously.
The network will include 400 flagship charging locations in major metropolitan areas and will operate alongside a separate consortium focusing on EV charging infrastructure.
