Gardai investigating how fire in Cork apartment started as victim (62) named locally

A fire on Togher Road in Cork resulted in the death of 62-year-old Michael O'Sullivan. Emergency services responded promptly after neighbors noticed smoke and heard cries for help. Although a woman was rescued from the apartment with smoke inhalation, the man sadly succumbed to the fire’s effects.
