JKMM Architects designed Finland's first hybrid football stadium in Tampere's Tammela district, merging sports, residential, and commercial spaces into a vibrant community development.
The 13,500-square-meter stadium includes seats for 8,000 spectators, meets UEFA category 4 standards, and can accommodate up to 15,000 for concerts and events.
The design preserves the heritage of the original Tammela football pitch while integrating modern architecture, offering unique residential opportunities with views of both the field and urban landscape.
Featuring a striking roof and glass entries, the stadium provides unobstructed views from each seat, enhancing the spectator experience while visually connecting to the neighborhood.
