COMPLUVIUM Pavilion / P+S Estudio de Arquitectura
Briefly

COMPLUVIUM serves as an allegory to water, reflecting the climate of Rouen and the natural surroundings of Canteleu by creating a space for experiencing rain.
The design aims to construct an architectural experience that heightens awareness of water's presence in the forest, challenging the convention of using architecture to protect from water.
Inspired by Roman atriums and traditional Diola homes, COMPLUVIUM collects rainwater in a central void, promoting contemplation over functionality.
COMPLUVIUM integrates a minimalistic approach with only three materials: pinewood, linen, and fiberglass, enhancing sensory and perceptive spatial experiences.
