Case Vecie Winery Production Facility / MASAAI Studio
Briefly

The Case Vecie property's recovery program includes a new winery production facility, employee changing rooms, and a tool shed. Strategically located in a secluded valley, the winery is partly underground to minimize landscape impact. It adopts an L-shaped design inspired by traditional barchesse architecture, emphasizing careful material choices to ensure contextual blend. With an internal side open to a gravel courtyard for machinery access and a more private external side, the building features massive concrete pillars and a wooden truss roof, reflecting both functionality and aesthetic design.
The new winery building design reflects the concept of traditional barchesse, adapted for modern use, ensuring minimal environmental impact and harmonious integration with the landscape.
Designed as L-shaped, the facility features an open internal side for agricultural accessibility and a more closed external side, balancing functionality and aesthetic appeal.
