Briefly

A small passenger plane crashed into a busy street in São Paulo, Brazil, shortly after takeoff, resulting in the deaths of both pilots and causing injuries to at least two bystanders. The aircraft lost contact shortly after departing from a local airport and crashed into Marquês de São Vicente street, striking several vehicles, including a bus that caught fire. Witnesses reported a chaotic scene of flames and smoke. Preliminary investigations are underway to determine the cause, amidst growing concerns about aviation safety in Brazil following a troubling increase in aviation accidents.
"The plane struck a tree, then a road sign, and started to discharge kerosene." said João Lucas, describing the moments leading up to the crash.
State governor Tarcísio Gomes de Freitas expressed sympathies for the victims, stating, "Unfortunately, we're beginning our day with this tragic aerial accident in the São Paulo capital."
