Brazil demands answers from U.S. after deportees allege mistreatment
Briefly

The Brazilian foreign ministry expressed outrage over the treatment of 88 Brazilian migrants on a U.S. deportation flight, describing it as 'degrading'. Reports from the migrants cited mechanical issues with the plane, causing stops in Panama and Manaus, where they endured extreme heat while restrained in handcuffs. Allegations of physical assaults by U.S. agents surfaced, leading to a formal request for answers from Brazilian officials looking to address concerns over human rights violations during deportation.
Some of the guys tried to force their way out to get the necessary help, but the United States agents wouldn't let us leave and assaulted one of the guys, knocked him down on the ground and kicked him.
They beat us, told us they'd crash the plane, that our families would be in worse situations.
