The project transforms a neglected flat into a modern living space by removing outdated partitions, unveiling the original structure and infusing natural light into the rooms.
Alicante shutters not only separate the public area from the private but also provide flexibility, intimacy, and adapt to the irregular geometries of the space, improving its functionality.
Emphasizing white throughout the flat enhances the spatial richness, showcasing varied textures of materials while wooden flooring and restored hydraulic tiles contribute to the aesthetic appeal.
The design takes advantage of the south-west facade's orientation for warmth in winter while mitigating summer heat with alicantina blinds that allow essential cross ventilation.
