In 2017 her home burned in California wildfires and a year later her husband died suddenly, leaving her without a partner, career, or home. Daily yoga became an emotional anchor, leading her to accept the CorePower Yoga CEO role five years ago. She travels frequently, splitting time between Denver and San Francisco, and maintains daily practices: waking at 5:30–6 a.m., performing a head-to-toe body scan, short meditation with an intention word, and drinking mushroom adaptogenic tea.
