On February 3, 2025, two men were arrested by the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office after they were seen chasing another car while armed. The incident began when a deputy observed a man in the back of a Dodge Charger pointing a rifle at the driver of a Chevrolet Malibu, attempting to coerce him to pull over. The chase escalated as the two vehicles weaved erratically through traffic. The Sheriff's deputies later caught up with them at a gas station, seizing weapons and additional evidence during the arrest.
Deputies arrested Junior Jean Noel and Wentz Cesly Toussaint after they chased a car while armed with a high-capacity rifle on the Palmetto Expressway.
During a high-speed chase, one man pointed a semi-automatic rifle at another vehicle compelling its driver to attempt pulling over.
