"No, I don't think it is the end of Salesforce": Klarna CEO clarifies why it stopped using Salesforce - and why he doesn't think other companies will follow suit
Briefly

Klarna CEO Sebastian Siemiatkowski clarified his company's recent decision to discontinue Salesforce, a leading CRM platform, explaining it is part of a broader strategy to consolidate various SaaS tools that were causing data fragmentation. With around 1,200 platforms phased out, Klarna is focusing on creating an internal tech stack to enhance data connectivity and knowledge sharing. Siemiatkowski emphasized that this move does not suggest Salesforce's decline, as he believes the CRM giant will continue to thrive.
I mentioned that we had removed some SaaS software including Salesforce. It turns out that the recording was leaked to @SeekingAlpha, and they put out a news post about it.
We decided to start consolidating; to put things together, connect our knowledge, and remove the silos. The side consequence of this was the liquidation of SaaS-not all of them, but a lot of them.
We did not replace SaaS with an LLM, and storing CRM data in an LLM would have its limitations. But we developed an internal tech stack, using Neo4j and other things, to start bringing data=knowledge together.
