Publishers feel SSPs and DSPs are to blame for the growth of made-for-advertising sites, with 60% and 58% agreement, respectively. Additionally, 57% of publishers blame advertisers, while 21% strongly agree with this viewpoint.
Only 29% of publisher professionals see publishers themselves as to blame for the proliferation of made-for-advertising sites, ranking them fifth in self-blame behind other entities like ad verification vendors.
