How brands can reduce their carbon footprint to make advertising gains
Briefly

According to a recent report from the Association of National Advertisers, brands can significantly reduce their carbon footprints by integrating sustainability into media plans.
Every 1,000 ad impressions emit between 50 to over 1,500 grams of carbon dioxide due to the high energy output from data centers.
The study revealed that brands should target lower-emission media pages as 2% of media sites are responsible for half of total emissions.
Jason Turbowitz said that significant carbon emissions reduction is possible without sacrificing performance goals or increasing advertising costs.
