Havas Media Network has commenced 2023 with the acquisition of CA Sports, a Spanish sponsorship agency, under its Havas Play unit. This move marks its first acquisition post-its listing on the Euronext Amsterdam stock exchange and aims at enriching their sports marketing abilities. CEO Jorge Irizar emphasized this is the first of ten acquisitions planned for the year to enhance Havas' business model. With rising investments in sports advertising, the acquisition enables Havas to offer brands more valuable sponsorship opportunities without the cost of traditional advertising.
