One person died in a plane crash near Lake Tahoe on Tuesday morning at approximately 8:19 a.m. The aircraft involved was an experimental, amateur-built Lockwood AirCam.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office confirmed the incident, stating that the Minden-Tahoe Airport in Nevada was closed following the crash as authorities began their investigation.
