The Metropolitan Police are investigating the stabbing death of 20-year-old Jason Romeo in Hackney, East London. The incident occurred on Bodney Road, and police are seeking three men—Rhamyah Bailey-Edwards, Travis Mitchell, and Raynolph Asante—for questioning. Det Supt Kelly Allen emphasized the need for public assistance in locating these individuals. The police have ramped up operations in the area, including weapons searches and house-to-house inquiries, following the tragic event. Two men, aged 25 and 23, were also arrested but then released without charges related to the murder, although they remain under investigation for drug offenses.
Detectives want to speak to Rhamyah Bailey-Edwards and Travis Mitchell, both 21, and Raynolph Asante, 22, in connection to the fatal stabbing.
Det Supt Kelly Allen stated, 'We need the public's help to trace Asante, Bailey-Edwards and Mitchell,' urging anyone with information to contact the police.
Officers have conducted increased weapons searches, reassurance patrols and will carry out house-to-house enquiries this weekend.
The police arrested a 25-year-old and a 23-year-old man on suspicion of murder and possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
