Man charged after stabbing outside Highgate supermarket
Briefly

On April 10, police responded to a stabbing incident in Highgate, where a 34-year-old man sustained stab wounds to his back from a group of men. Fortunately, his injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening. Brian Samuels, a 54-year-old from Borehamwood, was arrested and charged with several offences related to the attack. Local residents expressed shock and concern about the violent incident in their typically peaceful neighborhood, with investigations still ongoing as authorities seek further information from witnesses.
At the scene of the incident on Thursday, Zena, who lives nearby, said: "I'm upset, I really hope the person who was stabbed is ok as nobody seems to know. I hope that they catch the person who did it and they find out why it happened. This is a really peaceful area. Superstate is a wonderful store with lovely people working there. It's a real asset."
Cllr Lorna Russell, who lives in nearby Holly Lodge, reacted to news of the incident. She said: "I am both shocked and horrified to see this on our doorstep. My thoughts are with the victim and his family."
