A brand new branch of Bao - complete with karaoke - is opening
Briefly

Erchen Chang, Bao creative director, stated: 'We're really excited to open BAO City, where we can realize our dream of recreating a Taiwanese karaoke bar right in the center of the city's financial district.' Their vision stems from a nostalgic inspiration of 1980s and 1990s Taiwan, reflecting a vibrant culture that integrates karaoke and dining in a unique and engaging space.
Bao City will feature private KTV rooms—one for 10 and another for 25—with over 300,000 songs available. Food platters will complement the karaoke experience, including mini baos, fried chicken buckets topped with caviar, and fries with curry sauce, all served alongside a diverse drinks menu.
Each karaoke room in BAO City is designed with cinematic themes: the larger room pays homage to Edward Yang's 'Taipei Story' with a large LED screen, while the smaller room channels Oliver Stone's 'Wall Street' with 1980s office decor, enhancing the thematic dining experience.
