A young man was rushed to hospital after a stabbing close to a church in Hackney Wick. Police were called to reports of a stabbing in Eastway.
At the scene, a man aged in his 20s was found suffering from stab injuries and was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening.
No arrests have been made but police enquiries into the circumstances continue, urging anyone with information to contact them.
