Two people have died in a house fire in Walthamstow. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Metropolitan Police and the London Fire Brigade.
The London Fire Brigade's control officers received nine individual 999 calls about the fire in Forest Road on April 21. Forty firefighters were dispatched to tackle the blaze.
The first call reporting the fire came in at 10.25pm and by 12.22am, the fire had been extinguished. The two-storey end terraced home and half of the roof were destroyed.
