Ballymore (in partnership with TfL) has submitted plans to Barnet Council for a massive overhaul of Edgware, which includes a renovation of the shopping centre and bus station.
The renovation project aims to introduce new homes, leisure spaces, and even an enormous Sainsbury's alongside a cinema complex, radically transforming the area.
Despite the optimism for development, some residents express concern about potential disruptions caused by construction and the height of planned buildings.
If approved, construction may start soon, with initial developments like the nature park and cinema expected to finish by 2031, leading to significant changes by 2036.
