On January 23, a stabbing incident occurred near Marlowe Way in Beddington, where five individuals were injured, including a man in his 50s and two in their 30s. All victims sustained non-life-threatening wounds and were transported to a hospital. A 30-year-old suspect was arrested nearby on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon. Witnesses reported a 29-year-old intervened by using a fire extinguisher against the attacker. Police believe all individuals involved knew each other and indicated there is no broader threat to the public.
Everyone involved in the Marlowe Way attack knew each other, and police believe there is no wider risk to the public following the incident.
