Officers applied for a warrant of further detention at Croydon Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, May 3 following the arrest of a man, 33, on suspicion of murder.This gives police an additional 36 hours to keep the man in custody for questioning.Police were called to Stockwell Park Walk in Brixton at around 4pm on Monday (May 1) to reports of a stabbing.
