Investigation underway after Barking storage units damaged in early morning fire

Around 40 firefighters were dispatched to tackle a fire at storage units in Barking, responding to multiple calls received early morning on December 14.
The fire brigade arrived at the Ripple Road incident at 4.06am, and by 6.52am, the blaze was under control, with no injuries reported.
The rapid response involved six fire engines from Barking, Dagenham, East Ham, and Wennington, showcasing effective collaboration among different fire stations.
Although the fire caused damage to several storage units and an adjacent warehouse, the cause remains under investigation, ensuring local safety is prioritized.
