FlixBus has launched a 100% electric long-distance coach service between Cambridge and London, trialling it for six weeks on its long-distance network.
The electric coach used for the service, a Yutong GTe14, boasts zero emissions and incorporates modern conveniences such as USB charging and free wi-fi.
FlixMobility aims for carbon neutrality across Europe by 2040, having already explored various electric and hydrogen coach projects since 2018.
This trial echoes FlixBus's commitment to sustainable transport solutions as it continues to innovate with electric and hydrogen technologies in various markets.
