The police were on patrol looking for a vehicle linked to a number of burglaries in the Finchley area when they spotted the car in Long Lane.
Officers observed a group of males running from a property that had been broken into, who then attempted to escape in a vehicle.
The suspects tried to flee on foot after colliding with a police car, but ultimately were apprehended by the officers on duty.
The Met Police confirmed the arrests of two 17-year-olds and a 12-year-old, who are now in custody as investigations continue.
