Brits spent just 19.1 minutes a day on exercise, sports, and wellbeing activities in March 2022, compared to 29.6 minutes in March 2021 at the height of the pandemic. They dedicated 140 minutes a day to watching TV and 44 minutes a day on screens.
Dr. Avinash Hari Narayanan from London Medical Laboratory noted that in 2021, UK adults spent almost half an hour daily on exercise, a stark contrast to the current trend of spending less than 20 minutes, raising concerns about overall health and wellbeing.
