A teenage boy has been stabbed to death in east London, in a broad daylight attack on Monday afternoon. The boy, believed to be 15, was found with fatal stab wounds in Hackney, and died at the scene, with a murder investigation launched.
The death of a child is devastating and my first thoughts are with his family and friends. Our communities will also be deeply concerned by this event. Urgent inquiries are under way and my officers are working hard to identify the suspects.
