A former Omnicom executive, Renee Cassard, alleged discrimination and retaliation following her firing. A federal judge found Cassard's amended complaint failed to properly state a claim against Omnicom Group Inc. and dismissed the case with prejudice. The judge also permanently dismissed multiple allegations against Cassard's former supervisor. Cassard alleged that in 2022 Ralph Pardo, the newly installed CEO of Omnicom's North America division, directed a campaign of gender and age discrimination at her after she had received several promotions. The court concluded the claims as pleaded did not support liability for the company.
