Last month, federal employees descended on the President's House in Independence National Historical Park, a site overseen by the National Park Service (NPS) that once held the country's first presidential mansions. This case involves six individual plaintiffs, and Minneapolis, St. Paul and state officials have filed a separate lawsuit that seeks to end the ICE surge. Driving the news: U.S. District Judge Katherine Menendez barred ICE agents from arresting or pepper spraying people for simply observing or criticizing the federal government's actions. The judge also ruled that safely following ICE vehicles does not on its own justify a traffic stop, protecting an increasingly common tactic used by Minnesotans to track raids in the Twin Cities.

US District Judge Beryl Howell said in a ruling Tuesday that President Donald Trump's effort to radically increase the cost of the popular visa is lawful.

In one of those cases, a judge lifted the hold on construction, ruling that a lack of a sound justification for the hold made it "the height of arbitrary and capricious," a legal standard that determines whether federal decision-making is acceptable under the Administrative Procedures Act. The situation at the southern border constitutes an invasion of America, and Trump suspended the physical entry of migrants and their ability to seek asylum until he decides it is over.
