First Transgender Attorney to Argue Before Supreme Court Will Argue Trans Healthcare Case Wednesday

"I am able to do my job because I have had this health care that transformed and, frankly, saved my life. I am a testament to the fact that we live among everyone," Strangio told the Associated Press.
Strangio previously served on the legal team that successfully argued a case about LGBTQ discrimination in the workplace before the court in 2019, resulting in a significant ruling.
In 2020, Justice Neil Gorsuch noted that firing someone for being transgender is discrimination based on sex, directly linking Title VII protections.
