Casa Kani-Ini, designed by TAC Taller Alberto Calleja, is a coastal retreat in Puerto Escondido that emphasizes a low-impact architectural approach. Rather than a singular massive structure, the retreat consists of several independent volumes that enhance privacy and ventilation. Central to its design is a green water courtyard that connects distinct areas, offering a fluid transition and communal space. The project incorporates circulation bridges linking the various modules, promoting a harmonious integration with the surrounding landscape while ensuring the family's needs are met in this stunning coastal setting.
The Casa Kani-Ini retreat exemplifies a conscientious architectural approach that minimizes environmental impact by employing a fragmented design of independent structures.
Featuring a central green water courtyard, Casa Kani-Ini seamlessly links multiple spaces while enhancing privacy, connectivity, and an organic flow within the retreat.
