Chef Daniel Pfeifer-Kotz, an experienced chef, is now the executive chef at Lemon Grove in Hollywood. He is focusing on California and Mediterranean cuisine while integrating Latin flavors from his upbringing. He aims to revamp the restaurant's identity and attract both new and returning guests. Pfeifer-Kotz began cooking at 15 and progressed through various roles, ultimately creating nearly a dozen new dishes for the menu, including Hamachi Crudo and Roasted Half Chicken, which showcase his culinary vision and expertise with fresh ingredients.
"We're going with California, Mediterranean and fresh seasonal ingredients, that's kind of the direction I'm going for here, and I'm trying to pair in those Latin flavor profiles I grew up with."
"I feel like I've taken this in a direction that I think the restaurant should go in. Whatever the past may have been I think it's time for a little kickstart and I really want to be the person to bring Lemon Grove to new people as well as having our old guests enjoy us too."
