A security guard died following a confrontation with another person at a drug store in the Fremont Hub. The homicide investigation is the first by Fremont police since December of last year.
The security guard and the other person began to argue, leading to gunfire hitting the security guard. The security guard died at the scene, while the other person was taken to a trauma unit.
