Children as young as 6 months are now eligible to receive an updated Covid-19 vaccine.The US Food and Drug Administration on Thursday authorized updated Covid-19 vaccines from Moderna and Pfizer/BioNTech for use in children from ages 6 months through 5 years.The bivalent vaccines target the original strain as well as the BA.4/5 Omicron strains.
