Despite her brief training in graphic design, Maria's self-taught skills form the foundation of Mam Sham's captivating visual identity, central to its brand narrative.
"We've been using food packaging to tell a narrative for almost eight years," Maria explains. "We have a system that neither of us could change even if we wanted to."
"It's great to see so many brands embrace this," Maria notes about the trend in branded dining. Their events are sought after by companies like Nike and Nando's.
Maria states, "We don't just produce great events, we offer a fun way of telling their story organically through our packaging. It's essentially really tasteful subliminal messaging."
