Google Ads Performance Max Campaigns Will Have Brand Guidelines Enabled

Starting January 20, 2025, new Performance Max campaigns created in the Google Ads web interface will require business name and logo assets at the campaign level.
Brand guidelines is a new feature that allows you to control how your brand is represented in automated assets or formats in Performance Max campaigns.
New campaigns must link BUSINESS_NAME, LOGO, and LANDSCAPE_LOGO assets using the AssetGroupAsset resource in the API, which could impact reporting and updates.
The same asset requirements will apply to all Performance Max campaigns, but for those with brand guidelines enabled, asset evaluations will shift to campaign level.
