Posts on X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and Instagram falsely claimed the protests in Germany were supporting Palestine, when they were actually against the extreme-right AfD political party.
When examined using reverse image and keyword searches, it was discovered that the videos circulating online were from a protest against the AfD, not in support of Palestinians.
