Paneer and tofu are versatile vegetarian ingredients used in Asian cuisine, with paneer being a cheese made from cow or buffalo milk and tofu made from soy milk. While both have similar appearances and textures, their compositions differ significantly—only tofu is fully plant-based and vegan.
