Poland's The Linghos wins NN Social Innovation Award, bags 100K grant

Fleur Hudig, Head of Sustainability & Social Impact at NN Group, exclaimed, "We are thrilled to announce The Linghos as the winner of this year's NN Social Innovation Startup Award. The NN Social Innovation Startup Award has been an incredible journey, and we are honoured to have received so many outstanding applications from around the world." She emphasized the importance of recognizing the efforts of all participants, noting that many presented innovative solutions to improve well-being.
Hudig further explained, "We were impressed by the passion, dedication, and innovative solutions presented by all the finalists. While only three startups were named winners, we want to acknowledge and thank each and every participant for their hard work and commitment to improve the financial, physical and/or mental well-being of those at risk." Their acknowledgment highlights the collective effort driving social innovation.
The winning startup, The Linghos, utilizes AI technology to enhance pediatric speech therapy. Founded in 2022, this platform offers personalized and engaging therapy methods for children between 3 and 10 years old, effectively addressing speech impediments through voice-controlled exercises.
Whispp, one of the runners-up, is another innovative startup founded in 2020 focusing on voice disabilities. Its app allows individuals to communicate seamlessly during phone and video calls, effectively converting their voice into a clearer form to assist those with conditions like spasmodic dysphonia.
