"As a teacher, a student and a dad, I loved back to school season... now for those kids it will always be a time of sheer terror and that will be a memory they will hold forever," Walz reflected on the long-lasting impact of violence on students.
Walz expressed his frustration, stating, "I for one am sick and tired of hearing about thoughts and prayers rather than actually doing something," calling for tangible action in the wake of tragedies.
"The news cycle moves on within a day... now we have four dead," Walz commented on the fleeting attention given to such tragic events, urging for sustainable solutions.
