Shooters Hill College has closed for a second day as an 18-year-old year 12 student fights for his life after being stabbed outside the college.
In a message on the college website, it was stated that, "College closed to students. Wednesday 8th January 2025. Please see text messages sent to students, parents and carers."
A local resident remarked on the frequent chaos around the school, stating, "It is always chaotic around here after and before school, so many students everywhere... I'm not surprised that someone has been hurt."
Local parents expressed their fears about the rising violence, with one saying, "It's honestly so terrifying that a young man has been stabbed. My thoughts are with him."
