An investigation is underway in East Oakland following the kidnapping of a young woman on Tuesday afternoon. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on 98th Avenue when the victim was targeted by a suspect who attempted to hit her with a vehicle. After physically assaulting her, the suspect forced her into the car and drove away. Police have since recovered the stolen vehicle as they work to identify and locate the suspect, who remains at large. They urge anyone with information to contact the authorities.
