Authorities have identified the pedestrian who was tragically killed on Highway 4 when struck by a vehicle as George Woodson, a 55-year-old Brentwood resident.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:55 a.m. on October 17, with the driver of the involved black Chevrolet Avalanche remaining at the scene to speak with officials.
Despite the circumstances of the incident, no arrest was made, and the California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the reasons behind Woodson's presence on the highway.
As of now, the cause of Woodson's appearance on the highway remains unknown, raising questions about the context of this sad occurrence.
