A 19-year-old San Jose man was arrested in Campbell for a vandalism spree that caused $21,700 in damage, involving multiple businesses and vehicles over several days.
The Campbell Police used surveillance footage and automated license plate reader technology to identify the vandal, who was arrested after detectives executed a warrant.
During the arrest, detectives found a BB gun in the suspect's vehicle, leading to charges of felony vandalism and negligent discharge.
The incidents included at least 10 reports of broken glass and occurred from September 21 to September 25, highlighting a significant wave of vandalism.
