TasteSpace is tasked with designing Another Smith, the second-generation restaurant of Kapor Pla Rim Moei, reflecting the family's successful legacy in Thai-Chinese cuisine. The design honors the owner's family heritage through a logo inspired by traditional Chinese seals and the use of lucky colors. It features natural materials, specifically bamboo, to harmonize with the local context. The layout of the restaurant is strategic, with a flexible division into a jewelry shop, café, and dining area, optimizing operational efficiency and customer flow.
The new restaurant Another Smith merges tradition with modernity by incorporating unique bamboo structures, ensuring a seamless customer experience aligned with Kapor Pla Rim Moei's legacy.
TasteSpace took inspiration from traditional Chinese family seals, using red and blue in the design to symbolize fortune and the family's renowned fish-based culinary heritage.
